These hand made wristers are knit from an old maritime knitting pattern. The wristers were traditionaly worn by fishermen under their mittens. This allowed them to remove their mitts to work on thier nets while keeping their hands warm. These days, they are a great accesory to have on cool day to keep your hands covered while still being able to text or ... fix whatever your nets may be.
